The benefits of blade grinding for paper processing blades

1. Removing the blade from the sharpener and manually grinding it with an oilstone can obtain excellent sharp edges. The method is to gently remove the small burrs generated by the sharpener on the blade edge using an oil soaked oilstone, and then rotate the oilstone tightly against the front blade surface to move it to the full length of the blade.
2. Use the same method to move the oilstone to the full length of the blade after fine grinding, but tilt the oilstone slightly at an angle of no more than 1 °. After grinding according to the above method, an ideal blade is considered complete.
3. It is believed that the blade has been ground (without sparks), and there is no need to give the feed rate. Let the grinding machine repeat several strokes on its own, and the number of strokes depends on the length of the blade. If it is short, the stroke will be reduced.

Precautions:

1. When not using a blade, it is necessary to hang the blade vertically on a dry shelf and not place it flat as it may cause deformation of the blade.
2. The serrations of the blade are hard and sharp, and should not collide or fall onto the ground. It should be handled with care.
3. Wear protective covers, work gloves, safety helmets, safety shoes, and protective glasses during operation.
4. Before installing the blade, confirm the performance and purpose of the saw table to ensure that the cutting direction indicated by the blade arrow is the same as the rotation direction of the saw table. Cannot install in the opposite direction. Installing in the wrong direction may cause the blade teeth to fall off, preventing accidents.
5. When installing the blade, it is necessary to first check for cracks, distortions, leveling, tooth loss, and other phenomena before proceeding with the installation.
6. After installation, it is necessary to confirm whether the center hole of the blade is firmly fixed on the flange plate of the saw table. If there is a gasket, it is necessary to wrap the gasket ring well, and then gently push by hand to confirm whether the blade rotates eccentrically and shakes.
7. When using, do not exceed the specified high speed.
8. Pre rotate before use, and after replacing with a new blade, pre rotate for one minute before use to allow the saw table to enter working mode before cutting.
9. The hardness requirements of the blade are very important. Sometimes, even if the material is good and the hardness requirements are not reasonable, the blade will have cracks and soft edges.
