ULE
ULE Glass is a titania-silicate glass with near zero expansion characteristics that have made it the material of choice in unique applications such as machine tool reference blocks, gratings, reference blocks, interferometer reference mirrors, to telescope mirrors. Besides, ULE glass is an appropriate material for Extreme Ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) projection system.
ULE mirror
Ultra-low expansion (ULE) coefficient quartz glass is a modified quartz glass doped with 7.5% TiO2 developed by Corning Company in the United States. Its thermal expansion coefficient is an order of magnitude lower than that of ordinary quartz glass. The quartz glass has low density, strong polishability. No bursting during thermal welding at room temperature, and can be lightened by welding technology, which is an ideal space reflector material.
