Applications:
Tert-Butyl acrylate forms homopolymers and copolymers. Copolymers of tert-butyl acrylate can be prepared with acrylic acid and its salts, amides and easters, and with methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic acid easters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidence chloride, styrene, butadinene, unsaturated polyesters and drying oils, etc. tert-Butyl acrylate is also a very useful feedstock for chemical syntheses, because it rapidly undergoes addition reactions with a wide variety of organic and inorganic compounds.
Coating resins (high coating formulation)
Powder coating heat flow regulator
Automotive OEM/repair light surface varnish, automotive grade paint repair.
Paper styling polymer
Used as solid dosage forms of drug-coated materials or adhesives.
Hair care polymer products such as hairspray.
