HS Slurry Pump is a type of centrifugal pump that is designed specifically for handling abrasive and high-density slurries in various industrial applications. This pump is built with a robust construction and is made up of high-quality materials to ensure long-lasting performance even in harsh environments.
Product Description
HS series horizontal slurry pump is designed for the continuous pumping of high abrasive, high density slurries with minimal maintenance requirements. The wearing parts are made of superior anti-wear high chrome alloy or abrasion/corrosion resistant rubber. HS Slurry Pump will maintain high efficiency over the wear life of its components.
The metal wet parts and rubber ones can be interchangeable for handling different liquids or slurries.

HS Slurry Pump is a versatile pump that is widely used in various industrial applications. Its primary function is to handle abrasive and high-density slurries, which can be challenging for other types of pumps. Some of the most common applications of HS Slurry Pump include:
►Mining: HS Slurry Pump is widely used in the mining industry for transporting slurry from one location to another. It is used for dewatering, thickening, and tailings disposal.
►Mineral processing: In mineral processing, HS Slurry Pump is used for transporting slurries of various minerals, such as copper, gold, iron, and zinc, among others. It is also used for separating minerals from gangue materials.
►Coal preparation: In the coal preparation process, HS Slurry Pump is used for transporting coal slurry from the preparation plant to the power plant. It is also used for dewatering and handling coal tailings.
►Power generation: HS Slurry Pump is used in power generation plants for handling fly ash and bottom ash. It is also used for transporting lime slurry, gypsum slurry, and other materials used in the flue gas desulfurization process.
►Chemical processing: In chemical processing, HS Slurry Pump is used for handling corrosive and abrasive slurries. It is also used for transporting chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, and solvents.
In addition to these applications, HS Slurry Pump can be used in other industries where slurries are involved, such as pulp and paper, food processing, and wastewater treatment. The pump's robust construction and high efficiency make it an ideal choice for handling challenging slurries in various industrial settings.
1. Cylindrical structure of bearing assembly: convenient to adjust the space between impeller and front liner and can be removed completely.
2. Interchangeable anti-abrasive wet parts made of high-chrome alloys and abrasion resistant polymer.
3. Casing halves of ductile iron with external reinforcing ribs provide high operating pressure capabilities and an extra measure of safety.
4. The discharge branch can be oriented to any eight positions at the interval of 45 degrees.
5. Various drive types: DC(direct connection), V-belt drive, gear box reducer, hydraulic couplings, VFD, SCR control, etc.
6. The shaft seal uses the packing seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal.
Shaft Seal Arrangement:
• Packing Seal is a general shaft seal. It is widely used to various pumping conditions. Normally we use the aramid fiber packings against the general abrasive slurry. PTEF and Graphite can be used in high corrosive slurries or high temperature conditions. Flushing seal water is needed. For strong abrasion conditions, ceramic shaft sleeve is recommended.

• Expeller Seal is an impeller force of reversed centrifugal force, preventing slurry leakage. Expeller seal can be used on the single-stage pump when the positive pressure of pump inlet is no more than 10% of pump outlet pressure or on the first-stage pump in the pump series. Sealing water is no need if clear water is not available or water access is costly at working site.

• Mechanical Seal
International leading sealing technology, no leakage of sealing effect. Container type structure, convenient installation and replacement, different forms of the structure to adapt to different working conditions. The friction with high hardness of ceramic and alloy materials with mechanical seals and sealing box design with medium flow state pair, so it has high abrasion resistance and shock resistance, can guarantee the sealing effect of satisfied customers in a variety of harsh conditions all.
